Warning: This post will suck

When you have an hour between leaving work and going to class in which to both eat dinner and get from point A to point B, it leaves little time to stop at your friendly neighborhood comic book shop.

Which means that yesterday, I did not get any new books. And I probably won’t have time until Saturday. That’s kind of disappointing. I’m actually looking forward to a few things, including Captain America No. 34. The end of Y: The Last Man sounds awesome, but honestly, I plan to just wait for the last part of the series to be collected so I can just buy the whole thing in trade and read it start-to-finish.

I thoroughly enjoyed “Messiah CompleX” and it might actually start me reading regular X-books again, though not X-Force, which looks … stupid. Sorry, the concept I guess is OK (a black-ops mutant team that’s not afraid to use lethal force), but I’ve never been a fan of needlessly violent books like that. I thought there was one of those post-”Messiah” titles coming out this week, but apparently not, according to Marvel’s online catalog.

I did not make it to the Las Vegas ComicFest this weekend. Sorry, sleep seemed way more important. And I guess that’s all I have to say today. Oh, except for this: Check out this pretty decent Marvel Zombies fan film:
